Junior Fund / SPV Accountant (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities
The Fund / SPV Accountant will be responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, and operational oversight of real estate investment funds and their underlying SPV structures. The role supports the accurate administration of fund entities, ensures regulatory and accounting compliance, and coordinates with service providers, auditors, and asset <managers.Review>, code and process incoming invoices for real estate funds and their underlying entities and special purpose vehicles (SPVs)Prepare and process payments in compliance with internal approval procedures and payment deadlinesProcess, digitize and systematically file incoming and outgoing mail, and maintain the related documentationSupport day-to-day accounting activities, particularly the recording and maintenance of accounting transactionsSupport month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities by compiling supporting documents, reconciliations and analysesProvide assistance with the preparation of annual financial statements and respond to queries from auditors, tax advisers and other service providersPerform basic account and bank reconciliations and support the management of outstanding itemsMaintain master data, entity data, accounting information and other relevant data in the systems usedSupport the preparation of data and documents for reporting, tax filings and regulatory requirements

Your Profile
Completed commercial or administrative training, ideally with a focus on accounting, finance or real estate; equivalent practical experience will also be consideredInitial practical experience in accounting, invoice review, payment processing or administrationVery good written and spoken German and English is essentialGood working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and standard MS Office applicationsCareful, structured and reliable working style, with a strong attention to detail and an affinity for numbersA responsible approach to invoices, payments and confidential financial informationWillingness to learn about accounting processes, fund and SPV structures, and relevant systemsStrong communication and teamwork skills, combined with a proactive and service-oriented approachBasic knowledge of SAP or comparable financial accounting software is an advantageBasic knowledge of English and initial exposure to Lux GAAP, IFRS or regulatory requirements in the fund environment are an advantage
