Carpenter

Key Responsibilities

Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other construction materials.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Install doors, frames, cabinets, furniture, partitions, and other wooden structures.
Perform repair, maintenance, and finishing work as required.
Operate carpentry tools, machinery, and equipment safely.
Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Coordinate with supervisors and other team members to complete projects on schedule.

Requirements

Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role.
Knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, tools, and equipment.
Ability to read measurements and technical drawings.
Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Relevant technical qualifications or vocational training are an advantage.
