Facilities Team Leader

Job Summary:
The Facilities Team Leader is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily facilities management operations to ensure that buildings, equipment, and associated services are maintained in a safe, clean, efficient, and operational condition. The role involves leading the facilities team, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, monitoring service quality, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the facilities management team.
Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and other mechanical equipment.
Plan, schedule, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, facilities, and equipment to identify defects and maintenance requirements.
Assign tasks to technicians, cleaners, and other facility staff and monitor their performance.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
Monitor maintenance requests and ensure that reported issues are resolved within the required timeframe.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and facility management procedures.
Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, work orders, and equipment logs.
Monitor the availability of tools, materials, spare parts, and other operational supplies.
Support energy-saving initiatives and recommend improvements to facility operations.
Respond to emergency maintenance situations and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management.
Train, guide, and motivate team members to maintain high standards of performance and customer service.
Coordinate with other departments to minimize operational disruptions and ensure business continuity.
