Southern Health Partners is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Chesterfield County Detention Center. This part-time opportunity offers a predictable every other weekend schedule, allowing you to continue doing what you love while maintaining work-life balance.

Correctional nursing is a unique specialty where you'll use your assessment skills, critical thinking, and clinical expertise to provide quality patient care in a safe, structured environment. What You'll Do

• 💙 Provide direct nursing care to patients within the detention facility
• 💊 Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• 🩺 Complete nursing assessments and respond to patient concerns
• 📋 Maintain accurate electronic medical documentation
• 🤝 Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and facility staff
• 🔒 Deliver compassionate, professional care while following established correctional healthcare protocols

Qualifications

Qualifications

• ✔ Active South Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
• ✔ Minimum one year of LPN experience required (South Carolina requirement)
• ✔ Current CPR/BLS certification
• ✔ Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• ✔ Ability to work independently while collaborating with the healthcare team
• ✔ Correctional nursing experience is a plus, but not required
