What You'll Do

• 🩺 Perform nursing assessments and intake screenings
• 💊 Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• 📋 Monitor patient conditions and document care accurately
• 🤝 Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and correctional staff
• 🚑 Respond to urgent and emergency medical situations
• 📚 Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• ❤️ Provide patient education and promote wellness
• 🔒 Help ensure a safe, respectful, and compassionate healthcare environment

Qualifications

Qualifications

• ✔ Current, unrestricted South Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• ✔ Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse is required
• ✔ Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
• ✔ Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• ✔ Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• ✔ Previous experience in correctional healthcare, emergency nursing, medical surgical, behavioral health, or long term care is preferred but not required
