Summary

San Poil Valley Health Clinic is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner while promoting quality healthcare services to patients and families in our community.

New Hire Incentive: Eligible candidates may receive asigning bonus up to $5,000, paid according to the organization's bonus payment schedule.

Essential Functions

  • Provide direct nursing care within the scope of LPN practice.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Washington or ability to obtain prior to hire.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Ability to work effectively with patients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Basic computer and electronic health record proficiency.
  • This position requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting patients throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.

Note: Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing. In addition, this position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing.

TRIBAL MEMBER AND INDIAN PREFERENCE WILL APPLY; PREFERENCE WILL ALSO BE GIVEN TO HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS WHO ARE MINIMALLY QUALIFIED.

If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license and be eligible for the Tribes’ Vehicle Insurance. In addition, this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances. If applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
