Neonatologist Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Specialist Neonatologist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the care of newborns, premature infants, and critically ill neonates, with experience in neonatal intensive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to newborns, premature infants, and critically ill neonates.
• Manage neonatal emergencies and complex medical conditions.
• Provide care for premature and low-birth-weight infants.
• Manage respiratory distress and provide appropriate respiratory support.
• Perform neonatal resuscitation and stabilization when required.
• Monitor neonatal growth, nutrition, and developmental progress.
• Manage neonatal infections, jaundice, and other common neonatal conditions.
• Coordinate care with obstetricians, paediatricians, nurses, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding the infant's condition and treatment plan.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in NICU quality improvement activities.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD/DNB/DM or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Neonatology / Paediatrics with advanced Neonatal training.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
• Strong experience in NICU and neonatal critical care.
• Experience in neonatal resuscitation and respiratory support.
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
