Specialist Critical Care

We are seeking a skilled Specialist Critical Care Physician to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing critically ill patients and providing comprehensive care in a high-acuity intensive care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, stabilize, and manage critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Manage patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, shock, and multi-organ dysfunction.
• Provide care for patients requiring mechanical ventilation and advanced life support.
• Perform and supervise critical care procedures as appropriate.
• Monitor hemodynamic and physiological parameters and adjust treatment accordingly.
• Manage acute cardiac, neurological, renal, and infectious complications in critically ill patients.
• Participate in daily multidisciplinary ICU rounds.
• Coordinate patient care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, cardiologists, neurologists, nephrologists, and other specialists.
• Communicate effectively with patients’ families regarding treatment plans and clinical progress.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in ICU quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD/DNB/DM or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Medicine / Intensive Care Medicine / Anesthesiology / Internal Medicine with relevant critical care training.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
• Strong experience in ICU and critical care medicine.
• Experience in mechanical ventilation, resuscitation, and management of critically ill patients.
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
