<p><strong>About the role</strong></p>

<p>This is a permanent full-time position supporting the manufacture of components for the Australian sugar industry.</p>
<p>Working with a skilled team, you'll take the lead on machine setup, first-off verification, workshop planning, and mentoring apprentices and tradespeople while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity.</p>
</div>
<p><strong>In this role you wil be:</strong></p>
<div>
<ul>
<li>Setting and programming CNC machinery</li>
<li>Verifying first-off production components</li>
<li>Supporting production planning and workflow</li>
<li>Leading by example on safety and quality</li>
<li>Training and mentoring apprentices and team members</li>
<li>Working closely with supervisors and workshop teams to improve productivity and efficiency</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>You will have:</strong></p>
<div>
<ul>
<li>Trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner or similar mechanical trade</li>
<li>Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment</li>
<li>CNC machine setting and programming experience</li>
<li>Strong commitment to safety and quality</li>
<li>Ability to lead by example and support others in the workshop</li>
<li>Forklift, dogging or other relevant tickets are advantageous but not essential</li>
