<h2>About the Role</h2>
<p>Are you a recent graduate or early in your career and looking for an opportunity to build leadership and operations experience?</p>
<p>As an<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><strong>Assistant Learning Center Manager</strong>, you'll work closely with the Learning Center Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our Redwood City center. You'll gain hands-on experience working with students, families, tutors, and our HQ teams while developing skills across<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><strong>center operations, customer experience, team coordination, community engagement, and business growth</strong>.</p>
<p>You don't need previous management experience. We're looking for someone who is<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><strong>proactive, people-oriented, organized, eager to learn, and comfortable taking on different responsibilities as needed.</strong></p>
<h2>What You'll Learn & Do</h2>
<h3>Support Center Operations</h3>
<ul>
<li>Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Redwood City Learning Center</li>
<li>Coordinate class schedules, tutors, students, and center activities</li>
<li>Help maintain an organized, welcoming, and positive center environment</li>
<li>Support the Learning Center Manager with administrative and operational tasks</li>
<li>Help identify and resolve day-to-day center issues</li>
</ul>
<h3>Support Students & Families</h3>
<ul>
<li>Build positive relationships with students and parents</li>
<li>Help prospective families learn more about Think Zone and our programs</li>
<li>Support families throughout trial classes, enrollment, and ongoing classes</li>
<li>Gather parent feedback and help ensure families receive a high level of support</li>
<li>Help monitor the overall student and family experience</li>
</ul>
<h3>Develop Your Leadership Skills</h3>
<ul>
<li>Assist with tutor onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing coordination</li>
<li>Help support and communicate with the center's tutor team</li>
<li>Learn how to provide feedback and address operational issues</li>
<li>Develop communication, problem-solving, and people-management skills</li>
<li>Step in to support center operations when the Learning Center Manager is unavailable</li>
</ul>
<h3>Help Grow the Center</h3>
<ul>
<li>Support local events, community outreach, and marketing initiatives</li>
<li>Help build relationships with local schools, families, and community organizations</li>
<li>Encourage referrals and help introduce Think Zone to new families</li>
<li>Work with the Learning Center Manager and HQ teams on ideas to improve enrollment, retention, and the overall center experience</li>

<li>Able to work<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><strong>approximately 25 hours per week, Tuesday–Saturday</strong></li>
<li>Able to work in person at our<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><strong>Redwood City Learning Center</strong></li>
<li>Mandarin proficiency is preferred but<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><strong>not required</strong></li>
<li>Previous experience in education, tutoring, customer service, retail, sales, operations, internships, or student leadership is a plus</li>
