Summary
Objective
To perform more complex accounting activities, reconciliations, and preliminary reporting with increasing ownership of assigned accounts, while ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance with established controls.
Job Description
Main Duties

• More complex analysis, reconciliation, and partial ownership of reporting
• Prepare account reconciliations (AP, AR, advances, intercompany, selected GLs).
• Perform full bank reconciliations and clear outstanding items with banks/treasury.
• Process more complex transactions (e.g., adjustments, credit/debit memos).
• Compile month-end schedules and draft notes for preliminary variance explanations.
• Review Staff I work for completeness/accuracy before filing.
• Perform compliance checks on documentation and help implement corrective actions.
• Recommend minor process fixes based on recurring issues and cycle-time delays.
• Represent the section in routine meetings when senior staff are unavailable

Education:

• College graduate of BS Accountancy or related Finance courses

Experience:

• 4–6 years in general accounting or sub-ledger roles (AP/AR/Bank Recons)
• Manufacturing setup exposure preferred

Certifications:

• Certified Public Accountant is an advantage

Skills

• Account reconciliations (AP, AR, advances, intercompany, banks)
• Intermediate Excel (pivot tables, reconciliation templates)
• Understanding of tax basics (withholding, VAT, EWT) and documentation compliance
• Hands-on with ERP
