Analyst, Cybersecurity

<p><span id="p1R_mc2" class="markedContent">As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work with a broad number of </span><span id="p1R_mc3" class="markedContent">clients, and platforms, triaging alert escalations and incident handling when necessary. We </span><span id="p1R_mc4" class="markedContent">are looking for an energetic individual who is passionate about Technology and </span><span id="p1R_mc5" class="markedContent">Cybersecurity to join our growing IT Security team!</span></p>

<div><strong data-olk-copy-source="MailCompose">Responsibilities (including, but not limited to the following):</strong></div>
<ul data-editing-info="{"applyListStyleFromLevel":true}">
<li>
<div>High interaction with the Security, Engineering and Service teams, and respond to escalated issues from our tier 1 analysts in a timely fashion</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Respond and action escalations from our MDR provider and work with our engineering team and clients to improve detection and response capabilities whilst maintaining health and security of our platform</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Utilize interpersonal and technical skills to effectively communicate with management, peers, and clients</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Maintain an awareness of security and control issues in emerging technologies</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Ability to scope, implement and support new security projects/initiatives</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Ownership and follow up of pending issues to resolution</div>
</li>
</ul>
<div><strong>Skills</strong></div>
<ul data-editing-info="{"applyListStyleFromLevel":true}">
<li>
<div>Familiarity with industry standard tools and applications (such as Rapid7, Palo Alto, SentinelOne, KnowBe4)</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Familiarity with industry standard SIEM, Anti-Virus, Email/Spam Filtering, Asset</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Monitoring tools. (Working knowledge with SIEM query languages, Palo Alto Panorama, SentinelOne, Nagios, Mimecast, or Proofpoint)</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Ability to navigate and utilize a ticketing system (such as ServiceNow)</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Experience with change management and security remediation processes</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Experience with security documentation, technical and policy writing</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Ability to deliver technical/security information or concepts in a user-friendly format</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Takes ownership and excels in both independent and team project work</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Ability to work under pressure and with short deadlines</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Must have availability to occasionally work nights and weekends</div>
</li>
</ul>
<div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div>
<ul data-editing-info="{"applyListStyleFromLevel":true}">
<li>
<div>Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a security operations team, system engineering or</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>technical security role</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>A Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science or similar focus</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Microsoft Certified (MCSE) or equivalent certification a plus</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Security Certificate (current or within 6 months of hire) such as; CompTIA CySA, Security+ and Network+ CISA, ISC-2 CC</div>
