Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of mental health conditions while providing patient-centered psychiatric care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and clinical evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide medication management and monitor treatment response.
• Manage complex and long-term psychiatric cases.
• Provide appropriate crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric care.
• Offer psychotherapy or coordinate psychological interventions where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with psychologists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Counsel patients and families regarding treatment options and ongoing care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD/DNB/MRCPsych or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry.
• Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level.
• Strong experience in managing complex psychiatric conditions.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary mental healthcare team.
