Supervisor Nursing - PRN

Essential Job Duties:

• Maintains established hospital and departmental policies, procedures, objectives, quality improvement initiatives, safety and infection control to facilitate world class compliance levels with regulatory standards.
• Reallocates resources based on patient care needs, staff availability and with consideration of unit staffing standards.
• Assists with and/or facilitates resolution or management of customer issues/concerns/comments.
• Completes all required documentation - reports, records and statistics.
• Participates as a member of the Nursing Leadership team on assigned committees, teams and meetings.
• Communicates and works in a collaborative manner with employees, physicians, administration, patients, and families as needed, often in times of crisis.
• Contributes to a high performance work environment by seeking educational resources that enhance and maintain current knowledge and skills.

Secondary Job Duties That May be Reassigned:

• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
• Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing effective January 2017 (with the exception of staff previously granted grandfather status).
• Licensure: Registered Nurse license from the Indiana State Board of Nursing.
• Experience: Three years of clinical nursing in an acute care setting.
