Intern.General

The Intern.General will join GRANT PRIDECO S DE RL DE CV's QA department (DP 0332-023-00292) to assist in a residency project aimed at evaluating the repeatability and reproducibility of inspection processes. The role involves data collection, statistical analysis, documentation, and collaboration with senior quality engineers to improve measurement reliability.

• Assist in planning and executing repeatability and reproducibility studies for inspection processes.
• Collect, organize, and validate measurement data from laboratory and field inspections.
• Perform basic statistical analysis (e.g., ANOVA, Gage R&R) using software tools.
• Document study methodology, results, and conclusions in clear reports.
• Support the preparation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) based on study findings.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain traceability of data and ensure compliance with QA documentation standards.
• Help calibrate and verify inspection equipment as needed.
• Provide administrative support for the residency project, including scheduling and resource tracking.
• Present findings to stakeholders in a concise and professional manner.
• Currently enrolled in a university program (Engineering, Quality, Statistics, or related field).
• Basic understanding of statistical concepts and measurement system analysis.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, R, or Python).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Detail‑oriented with good organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Interest in quality assurance and continuous improvement processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new QA methodologies.
• Availability to commit to the internship duration as defined by the residency project.
