About The Role
This role is critical to ensuring the seamless execution of corporate training operations.
The Training Assistant acts as a key administrative partner to the Learning & Development team, coordinating training activities, managing learner engagement processes, and maintaining operational excellence across all training programs.
This is a fast-paced, highly organized role that requires strong attention to detail, proactive problem solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. The successful candidate will play an essential role in delivering an efficient and positive learning experience for participants, facilitators, and stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage the publication and maintenance of training courses, learning content, and materials within Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training platforms.
- Coordinate participant registrations, enrollment management, attendance tracking, and learner communications.
- Administer the opening and closing of training program enrollments and participant vacancies.
- Ensure learning records, documentation, and training data are maintained accurately and consistently.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to trainers, coordinators, and participants.
- Coordinate logistics for both virtual and instructor-led training sessions.
- Organize training schedules, calendars, invitations, meeting links, and participant communications.
- Ensure timely distribution of learning materials, training resources, and required documentation.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports, training metrics, and program tracking dashboards.
- Monitor training activities to ensure deadlines, attendance requirements, and program objectives are achieved.
- Track participant progress and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in the collection and analysis of training data to support business decision-making.
- Maintain accurate training records while ensuring compliance with internal processes and standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and training workflows.
- Resolve operational issues, scheduling conflicts, and training-related inquiries in a timely manner.
- Support the implementation of new tools, processes, and best practices within the Learning & Development function.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Capability
- Ongoing or completed tertiary/university studies in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or related fields.
- Previous experience in administrative, coordination, or operational support roles.
- Experience supporting corporate learning, training programs, or learning operations is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience coordinating schedules, tracking activities, and maintaining operational reports.
Technical Strength
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training administration platforms preferred.
- Experience working with reporting tools and maintaining training data.
- Comfortable learning and navigating multiple systems and digital platforms.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency preferred.
