Water Operator Lvl C

Primary Purpose
A Water Operator Lvl C possesses a Water Operator license (May be in the process of certification; employment is conditional on passing the certification test.) Will have at least 1 year of acceptable operating experience. Operates mostly under supervision.3rd Shift
Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervised operation of the water treatment system.
• Maintenance of water equipment and wells.
• Performs process control lab work.
• Adheres to all safety requirements, including personal protective equipment (PPE), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, lockout-tagout procedures and process safety management related matters.
• Assists with compliance documentation and recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Active Water Operator license or working on certification.
• 1 year of acceptable operating experience.
• DE: Recertify every 2 years with completion of 20 hours of approved training within that timeframe.
• NC: Recertify annually with completion of 6 hours of commission-approved continuing education.
