About The Role
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Engineering and Technical Task (30%)
- Implement engineering tasks for measurements, testing, and troubleshooting
- Support engineers in fabrication and assembly of prototype samples and pilot runs
- Assist engineers in preparing and releasing technical drawings and related documents for procurements
Document and Procurement Support (30%)
- Create new part numbers, purchase requests, and other documentation for procurement of new tools, consumables and spare parts. Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely ordering and delivery
- Assist in preparing administrative documents for workshop management and inventory control
- Maintain records and documentation for operational activities in NPI workshop
Handling/Inventory and Workshop Maintenance (30%)
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and components from other warehouses
- Report, organize and store items properly in the NPI workshop
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workshop
- Perform routine maintenance tasks (e.g., waste disposal, cleaning tools and equipment)
- Support a safe and efficient working environment
Others (10%): Others tasks assigned by the higher-level supervisor or NPI manager
Education & Experience
- Intermediate or College Graduate in Engineering or Technology fields such as Physics, Chemistry, Physical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines
- From 3 years of experience in a technical or support role
- Basic understanding of technical drawings and engineering processes
- Familiarity with production inventory control or ERP systems is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with operation of optical systems, opto-mechanical systems, electrical testing systems, and vacuum systems is a plus

- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated, proactive, and responsible with a strong commitment to completing assigned tasks

- Basic English reading and writing skills; Chinese language skills are a plus
Working Conditions
- Work with advanced optical technologies and high-precision measurement equipment
- May involve lifting and handling materials
- Work environments include workshops, cleanrooms, and standard office settings
- Occasional support for team travel coordination outside regular hours
