TIG Welder/Fabricator

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, and other metals according to specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal components and structures.
• Set up and operate TIG welding machines and related fabrication equipment.
• Select appropriate welding techniques, materials, and filler rods based on job requirements.
• Measure, cut, bend, grind, and prepare materials for fabrication.
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in good working condition.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a TIG Welder/Fabricator.
• Strong TIG welding skills, particularly on stainless steel and/or mild steel.
• Ability to read technical drawings and measurements.
• Good knowledge of welding and fabrication tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant welding certification or technical qualification is an advantage.
