Data Coordinator

What is your mission?

We are looking for a Data Coordinator to support clinical research data collection, validation, and quality assurance activities. The role is responsible for reviewing data accuracy, conducting data integrity checks, supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), validating database forms and functionality, ensuring protocol compliance, and managing patient follow-up activities for registries and clinical trials.

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks

• Collect and abstract clinical data from medical records, research charts, and other source documents.
• Support study activities by understanding and adhering to study protocols while utilizing appropriate quality assurance measures for accurate data collection and entry.
• Monitor study timelines and track current timepoints to ensure timely completion of study objectives.
• Perform data validation and quality checks on data entered into the Talosix electronic data capture system, identifying missing data, inconsistencies, and data entry discrepancies.
• Conduct internal audits to verify data completeness, validity, accuracy, and protocol compliance.
• Perform source document verification where applicable to ensure data integrity.
• Validate newly created database forms and conduct user functionality testing before deployment.
• Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new registries, platforms, and database enhancements before go-live.
• Enter tester data to support project validation and system testing activities.
• Support patient follow-up requirements for maintained registries and clinical trials, including internal and external communications, patient engagement, adherence reporting, data management, and compliance documentation as needed.
• Promote efficient workflows through the use of independent judgment, healthcare operations knowledge, and collaborative communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Who are we looking for?

• 1-2 years of data coordination and/or data management experience.
• 1-2 years of experience performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and data validation activities.
• Experience working with medical terminology.
• Experience handling protected health information and maintaining HIPAA compliance and security standards.
• Knowledge of database functionality and adherence to study protocols.
• Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, English writing, and language skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and drive tasks and projects to completion with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and timelines effectively.
• Ability to communicate workload, priorities, and project progress clearly with managers and supervisors.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software applications.
