Forward Deployed Software Engineer

Join Applied Intuition as a Forward Deployed Software Engineer, where you'll work in small teams and take ownership of high-stakes projects. You'll serve as the technical bridge between our innovative vehicle intelligence platforms and real-world operational environments. This role requires both technical depth and operational excellence, as you'll tackle a wide range of challenges, including software engineering, system deployment, and hardware integration. You'll collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure successful outcomes and drive projects to completion.

• Strong engineering background, preferred in fields such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering
• Strong engineer with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python
• Excellent communication skills and focus on solving customer problems
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proven ability to thrive and innovate independently within highly ambiguous and rapidly evolving operational environments
• Broad technical experience across software engineering, operating systems, and some hardware
• References who will describe them as low-ego, highly motivated, thoughtfully opinionated, strong communicators and curious listeners
• Experience in driving customer engagements and success
• Experience supporting integration and deployment of complex systems
• General willingness to travel for company business between our offices, as well as to customer sites
