Senior Technical Project Manager (Customer Success)
Jacobian · Germany
About The Role
Join our EMEA Customer Success team as a Senior Technical Project Manager. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of SmartReports implementations for hospitals and radiology practices across the region. You will coordinate and document the solution design, manage technical workstreams with hospital IT, and serve as the primary customer contact throughout the implementation. This role offers flexibility, a performance-based bonus scheme, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in healthcare.
- Own the end-to-end delivery of SmartReports implementations across EMEA, from discovery and solution design through configuration, integration, testing, go-live, and hypercare.
- Coordinate and document the solution design, working with integration architects and engineers to capture integration architecture, interface decisions, and configuration options.
- Serve as the primary customer contact throughout implementation, running status calls, agendas, minutes, and decision logs with clear, structured communication up to executive level.
- Understanding of medical/radiology terminology and clinical workflows is a plus
- Strong technical affinity — you're comfortable in conversations about HL7 interfaces, RIS/PACS environments, and hospital IT constraints, and you can translate between engineers and non-technical stakeholders; you don't need to be an engineer or architect yourself
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is a plus
- Proven ability to run multiple concurrent projects and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, external vendors) without formal authority
- Experience with Jira-based delivery and phase-gate project models
- Awareness of working in a regulated environment (medical device software, GDPR) is a plus
- Strong documentation discipline: solution design write-ups, status reports, decision logs, and tickets that others can actually work from
- Excellent communication in English; German at a professional level strongly preferred for the DACH customer base
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM, Business Informatics, IT, or a related field — or equivalent experience
- Experience with speech recognition, structured reporting, or AI-supported clinical documentation
- Several years of project management experience delivering enterprise software or healthcare IT implementations
