Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of flare system projects from order handover through final project completion. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience managing engineered equipment projects involving pressure vessels, process packages, skids, piping systems, and Oil & Gas equipment.

The Project Manager will serve as the primary customer interface and be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements. A strong focus on change order management, project scheduling, expediting, commercial control, and cross-functional coordination is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

• Manage multiple flare system projects from sales handover through commissioning and project closeout.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and monitor project execution plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, and Global Teams to ensure timely execution.
• Track project progress and proactively resolve schedule bottlenecks.

Change Order & Commercial Management

• Lead all change order management activities including identification, documentation, costing, customer negotiations, and implementation.
• Identify scope deviations and ensure commercial recovery through approved variation orders.
• Monitor project budgets, profitability, invoicing, and cash flow.
• Protect project margins by controlling scope creep, engineering hours, procurement costs, and schedule impacts.
• Coordinate with Sales and Finance regarding commercial changes affecting project value.

Project Scheduling & Expediting

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project management tools.
• Drive project expediting activities to ensure engineering deliverables, procurement, manufacturing, inspections, and shipments meet contractual timelines.
• Expedite vendor documentation, manufacturing progress, inspections, and deliveries.
• Conduct regular schedule reviews and implement recovery plans for critical path activities.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to eliminate execution delays.

Engineering & Technical Coordination

• Review customer specifications, contracts, and technical requirements.
• Coordinate preparation and review of engineering deliverables, procurement packages, vendor documents, and manufacturing documentation.
• Support technical discussions with customers and global engineering teams.
• Participate in HAZOP, design reviews, and technical clarification meetings where applicable.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Maintain regular communication with customers, vendors, Zeeco Global Offices, and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct project review meetings and provide accurate project status reports.
• Manage customer expectations while ensuring contractual compliance.
• Resolve technical and commercial issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Risk & Quality Management

• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with project quality requirements, ISO procedures, and contractual obligations.
• Support inspection activities, FATs, documentation reviews, and project closeout activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• PMP Certification or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• 10+ years of project management experience in Heavy Engineering or EPC projects.
• Proven experience executing projects involving (Preferred but not mandatory):
• Flare Systems
• Pressure Vessels
• Process Equipment
• Skid Packages
• Heat Exchangers
• Oil & Gas Equipment
• Strong understanding of project commercial management and contract administration.
