Indirect tax controller

Join <Booking.com> as an Indirect Tax Controller in our Global Indirect Tax Operational Compliance and Accounting team. In this role, you will manage global VAT compliance processes, drive process standardization and automation, and liaise with key stakeholders. You will be part of a dynamic finance organization and work from our headquarters in Amsterdam.

• Gestionar los procesos de cumplimiento de IVA global de Booking en cooperación con otros miembros del equipo.
• Liderar el proceso de cumplimiento de IVA indirecto global, impulsando la estandarización, automatización y simplificación de tareas.
• Identificar, dar seguimiento, iniciar y priorizar mejoras en los procesos relacionados con el cumplimiento de impuestos indirectos.

• Approx. 5-7 years’ experience in finance and/or accounting preferably within tax accounting and multinational corporate environment
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Ambitious and inquisitive attitude
• Enthusiastic, proactive and driven
• University (Accounting, Business, Economic) degree and/or postgraduate education (RA/CPA)
• Proven ability and the credibility to persuade and influence in effecting changes within an organization
• Sound knowledge of US GAAP
• Experienced in working in a team in an international company and matrix organization
