Senior Web Programmer

Join Rockstar Games as a Senior Web Programmer, where you'll work on innovative technology with an internationally established team. This role focuses on the "back of the frontend," integrating front-end applications with Next.js and <ASP.NET> Core, developing accessible front-end components, and optimizing web performance. Candidates should have a degree in computer science or 5+ years of professional web development experience, with a strong passion for web technologies and video games.

• Development of accessible front-end components and applications using React, integrating front-end applications with Next.js and <ASP.NET> Core (C#).
• Collaboration with other Rockstar technology teams across worldwide studios to architect and maintain high-impact features.
• Building services and tools that support consumer-facing experiences and internal business needs, including user-generated content.

• A degree in computer science or 5+ years of experience in professional web development
• 5+ years of experience using React
• Experience with automated testing, shared code, and source control, preferably Git
• Passion for web technologies and a desire to remain up to date with the latest technologies
• Extensive experience in accessible web development
• Knowledge of Agile, software development, and web-security best practices
• 5+ years of experience using Node.js or C#
• Ability to effectively facilitate communication with teams in various locations worldwide
• Experience working on high-traffic, responsive websites and applications
• Exposure to observability tools
• Exposure to Elasticsearch/OpenSearch
• Experience with Next.js SSR/ISR
• Knowledge of Rockstar’s game titles and passion for playing video games
