Principal Security Programme Manager & Technical Lead - Engine by Starling

Join Engine by Starling, a rapidly growing fintech company. As a Principal Security Programme Manager & Technical Lead, you will shape and execute our strategic security roadmap, lead core security projects, and ensure compliance with key regulatory frameworks. You will work closely with the Business Information Security Officer and collaborate with engineering, SecOps, and threat/vulnerability management teams. This is a hybrid role with a focus on delivering great outcomes for our clients.

• Partner directly with the Business Information Security Officer (BISO) to evaluate, refine, and drive the security roadmap, proactively proposing strategic updates to support rapid business growth.
• Lead core security projects, aligning initiatives across the CTO Office, engineering leads, SecOps, and threat/vulnerability management.
• Define and roll out practical security guardrails, risk assessments, and safe-use practices for AI/LLM adoption across engineering and business units.
