Assistant Vice President - Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP)

This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for a full-time Assistant Vice President Licensed Environmental Professional to support our Connecticut operations, in our Glastonbury and Shelton, CT offices. Be involved in projects with our Earth and Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

Own a portfolio of Connecticut environmental projects and client relationships. Translate technical and regulatory judgment into project decisions, develop new work, and build team capability through direct supervision and mentoring.

Your Impact

Essential accountabilities

• Prepare environmental work plans and direct projects through completion, with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality and next-course-of-action decisions.
• Manage existing client relationships, identify opportunities and develop new business.
• Apply Connecticut environmental consulting expertise, including CTDEEP RSRs, RCRA and TSCA, to project strategy and technical decisions.
• Supervise, mentor and train junior staff; set expectations and review work quality.
• Interpret data and project findings to determine practical, compliant actions for clients.

Who You Are

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology or environmental engineering.
• Current CTDEEP Licensed Environmental Professional credential.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Connecticut environmental consultant.
• Strong working knowledge of CTDEEP RSRs, RCRA and TSCA.
• Demonstrated project, client and staff management capability

Compensation

Expected Salary (all locations): $140,000 - $185,000

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
