They use knowledge of the process, operating procedures, raw materials, and products to control equipment used in the manufacturing process. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the safe operation of chemical processing equipmentRead and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Use control/display screens, process pumps and equipment, and various hand tools;Take required samples during the production processLoad/unload railcars and bulk trailersTroubleshoot problems associated with equipment, processes, and systemsPerform preventive maintenance and inspectionsDecontaminate equipment and piping for maintenance or disposalDemonstrate knowledge of and adherence to the site’s Environmental Safety & Health (ESH) and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards (e.g. general shop floor/machine safety and operating proceduresIssuing work permits to contractors and monitor progress and conditions of contractor workConducting process equipment isolationOperate equipment used to support manufacturing operations (forklift, scissor lift, shuttle wagon, JLG, etc.)Assist in reviewing and approving key process documentation (operating, start-up and shut-down procedures; process flow and instrumentation diagrams; etc.)Assist in product changeover activities. Basics of plant/unit operations and safety equipment.Performs general housekeeping duties Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED Willingness to perform elevated work and work using portable laddersWillingness to use a full-face respirator, self-contained breathing apparatus, and various other forms of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Ability to perform repetitive motions and lift to 60 lbs.Ability to work rotating shifts, including required overtime hours and weekends to support business needsUse control/display screens, process pumps and equipment, and various hand tools Preferred Qualifications: Manufacturing or agriculture operations experience, military, or similar experienceExperience operating a fork truckGood mechanical and troubleshooting skillsPersonal focus on safety, teamwork, and adaptabilityStrong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to listenAble to work without direct supervision in a diverse team environment Posting will be available until October 15, 2026.Employees can expect to be paid a salary of $30.42 per hour. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
