About The Role

Business Function

SME Banking - China Focused provides corporate customers with a full range of corporate banking products and services, including cash management services, trade service, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.

Responsibilities

To follow the bank strategy and the business plans to solicit a substantial deposit portfolio
To identify customer needs with sound product / industry knowledge (especially on startups), high quality service and full range of corporate banking services & products so as to increase DBS product penetration and wallet share
To tailor-made a one-stop corporate banking services & solutions for our target companies to meet their various banking needs
To collaborate with business partners, particularly GTS (Cash & Trade Services), T&M (including FX and CWM), Insurance Teams, on idea generation, campaign execution and end-to-end performance management
To work closely with various inter-group parties to capture the maximum opportunity of building relationship with high net worth corporate and intermediary agents
To take ownership for account compliance and KYC, good knowledge of CDD and coordinate with internal parties for account conduct monitoring
To assist the team/department in starting initiatives to improve productivity, building strategic partnerships with the stakeholders in ecosystem to drive business, implementing tasks with different squads to work towards common goals
To comply with the registered capacity as well as any conditions imposed by the HKMA and other regulator bodies. This includes compliance with the applicable requirements of the Code of conduct for Persons Licensed by or Registered with the SFC & Insurance Authority

Requirements

Degree holder with major in Finance / Business
With minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in soliciting non-borrowing high net worth Corporate & Institutional Clients
Solid experience in building deposit portfolio, strong cross selling capacity, extensive network of referral parties and strong engagement capability with both internal and external
Registered RI (Regulated Activities Type 1& 4) with passes in the HKSI Licensing Examination Papers 1, 7, 8 & 11 or equivalent
