Senior Registered Nurse - Mudon Clinic

The post holder will work as a senior member of the nursing clinical team, supporting the Line Manager and Charge Nurse/Sister in overseeing and directing the work of the nursing team. They will deputize as nurse in charge in the absence of the Line Manager or Charge Nurse/Sister, supervising the team on shift to ensure compliance with clinic standards and patient pathways, and delegating work appropriately to maintain full nursing coverage. Working closely with both the nursing and multidisciplinary teams, the role requires delivering evidence-based, holistic care to patients across the Hospital. The post holder will assist in the leadership and development of identified nurses within the department, act as a clinical resource across the Hospital, and provide patients and relatives with safe, high-quality care and information. As a positive role model, they will support staff development, deal personally with patients, families, and carers to resolve complaints, and assist in implementing and monitoring action plans to achieve departmental standards. Maintaining a high clinical profile, they will facilitate the application of theory to practice, provide specialist knowledge within the area of practice, and ensure that all staff deliver services in a high-quality, courteous, and patient-focused manner, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

• Demonstrate clinical expertise in the care of all patients receiving treatment in the Hospital.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs on an ongoing basis, coordinating care delivered by all members of the clinical team.
• Accurately interpret clinical information about patients’ conditions, take appropriate remedial action, and promptly report changes.
• Ensure accurate records are maintained reflecting both changes in the patient’s condition and the treatment provided.
• Keep patients and their relatives regularly updated with accurate information, communicated sensitively and in a way they understand.
• Organise patient transfers within and outside the Hospital, escorting ill patients as required.
• Contribute to the health education of patients and their families, providing advice and support to encourage healthy lifestyles.
• Ensure relevant information regarding patients’ needs and conditions is communicated to the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) and that instructions are acted upon.
• Provide clear and accurate written and verbal communication at all times, including patient handovers.
• UAE Medical Health Authority License (DHA).
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Has worked in hospital or similar setting for at least 5 years.
• Proficient in basic computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with the ability to manage digital documentation and communication effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and stakeholders.
