Job Title General Assistant OperatorReports into Team LeaderIF YOU HAVE ALREADY APPLIED FOR A GENERAL ASSISTANT OPERATOR ROLE, PLEASE DO NOT REAPPLYRole Summary General Assistant Operator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the quality and safety of food products.Key Responsibilities Measuring and classifying all raw materials in preparation for productionMeasure, decant, mix, batch and cook ingredients to Variety Process Sheet requirementsControl the temperature and automated processes for making productsMonitor the food safety and quality of the product and record results during the production process to Master Process Sheet requirementsFill, cook and label the finished goods in preparation for shipmentClean the machinery and other parts of the production spaceReport machine faults and raise to supervision / maintenance as requiredMaintain work areas and equipment in a good hygienic stateComply with Golden Rules, KHMS and all 3rd party requirementsReport concerns relating to product safety, authenticity, legality and qualityEfficiently operating manufacturing machinery, monitoring safety and quality of all equipment and produceIdentifying and reporting defectsProactively identifying ways to improve OEECompleting effective shift handoversProactively solving ad-hoc problems with linesWorking within our KHMS operating modelExpected Experience and Required Skills FLT license preferredPrior manufacturing experience is preferredAbility to multitask in a busy production environmentTechnologically proficientGreat teamwork and communication skillsPrevious history of driving continuous improvement
