Position Summary The Postdoctoral Research Associate will carry out advanced research under the supervision of Dr. Ana Bedran-Russo in the Department of Oral Biology at the University of Illinois Chicago. The position focuses on interdisciplinary research centered on fundamental and translational studies on artificial and biological interfaces of mineralized dental tissues and bioinspired modulation strategies for the development of novel dental biomaterials. Duties Responsibilities carry out various experimental studies, becoming well-versed in multi-scale mechanical analytical methods, spectroscopic assays for biochemical characterizations, high-resolution imaging, and cell viability studies. use of data management programs and perform data analysis, prepare reports and peer review manuscripts, mentoring and training of students. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
