We are seeking a compassionate, vigilant, and dedicated Safety and Support Representative to join our mission in providing essential care and supervision for our consumers. The Role As a Safety and Support Representative, you will be a vital pillar of our direct care team. Your primary focus will be the supervision and engagement of youth and adolescents, helping them navigate safety concerns and problem-solve through behavioral health crises. You will model safe, positive behavior and use trauma-informed approaches to ensure our patients feel secure and supported. Essential Responsibilities Supervise unit activities and patient movement to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly environment. Engage with youth and adults to support their individualized treatment plans and goals. Provide crisis intervention and initiate emergency response plans when necessary. Complete accurate and timely documentation of patient behaviors and interactions using agency software. Coordinate and provide transportation for patients to appointments and visits. Maintain a high level of professionalism, calmness, and confidence in high-stress situations. Requirements Education: High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Licensure: Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance. Experience: At least one year of related experience or training. Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in typing and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Language: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written, is an essential function of this position. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a behavioral health setting or a related field. Familiarity with trauma-informed and person-centered care approaches.
