Corporate FP&A Manager

Join Thumbtack as a Corporate FP&A Manager, where you will own the consolidated view of the company's P&L, including forecasting, annual planning, and reporting to the leadership team and Board. • Own the consolidated monthly and quarterly P&L close process for FP&A, including forecasting, variance analysis, and the narrative that explains what actually happened.
• Run the annual budgeting cycle end to end, from bottoms-up build through executive review, and build management and Board-level reporting.
• Apply AI and workflow automation to core FP&A processes, replacing manual reporting and reconciliation work with something faster and more reliable.

• Comfort querying data directly - SQL or equivalent - enough to validate revenue forecasting and funnel inputs without a handoff
• 7+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with meaningful time spent in a corporate or consolidated finance function
• Demonstrated experience applying AI tools to real finance workflows, and a point of view on where they help and where they do not
• Hands-on experience with EPM and ERP systems such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Pigment, Aleph, Oracle Planning & Business Systems, NetSuite, SAP
• Strong written and verbal communication, with experience presenting to senior executives
• Excellent financial modeling skills in Excel and Google Sheets, with the judgment to know when a model should be simple and when it should not
• A track record of building management and Board-level reporting, including the written narrative that goes with the numbers
