Software Engineer (Beneficial Deployments)

Join our Beneficial Deployments Engineering team as a Software Engineer. You'll tackle unique technical challenges at the intersection of AI accessibility, social impact, and scalable product development. Your work will help make frontier AI accessible to organizations addressing humanity's most pressing challenges. Responsibilities include designing and implementing infrastructure for global markets, building flexible pricing and billing systems, developing integrations with mission-critical tools, and measuring social impact at scale. This role requires strong full-stack engineering skills, empathy for underserved communities, and a passion for using technology for social good.

• Design and implement infrastructure that enables accessible, self-serve onboarding and verification systems for global markets.
• Build flexible pricing, billing, and provisioning systems that balance accessibility with sustainability for resource-constrained organizations.
• Develop MCP integrations that connect Claude with mission-critical tools used by nonprofits, educators, healthcare workers, and researchers.

• This role requires strong full-stack engineering skills combined with deep empathy for underserved communities and mission-driven organizations
• Have experience building consumer or enterprise products that prioritize accessibility, inclusivity, or served underserved populations
• Have technical expertise in identity management, billing systems, self-serve onboarding flows, or API integrations
• Have 6+ years of practical experience as a full-stack software engineer
• Have excellent collaboration skills and can work effectively with product, partnerships, and field teams
• Have a builder mentality with ability to ship products quickly while maintaining quality for diverse user needs
• Care deeply about using technology for social good and want your engineering work to have meaningful impact
• Understanding of compliance requirements in regulated sectors
• Experience with international markets, multilingual products, or accessibility features
• Startup experience, particularly in scaling products from zero to one
• Experience with AI/ML products and LLM applications
• Background in nonprofit technology, social impact startups, or mission-driven organizations
• Familiarity with building products for resource-constrained environments or emerging markets
• Education requirements: We require at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
