Project Planner M/F

Join HEB Construction, part of VINCI Construction, as a Project Planner in Invercargill. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing detailed project programs that support both tendering and project delivery. You will work closely with operational, engineering, and commercial teams to identify opportunities, manage risks, and provide critical project insights. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in civil infrastructure project planning, strong knowledge of construction sequencing and project delivery methodologies, and experience using planning and scheduling software.

• Developing integrated construction programmes from first principles and creating detailed schedules covering design, procurement, consenting and construction activities.
• Monitoring project progress, updating programmes throughout delivery, and working with project teams to identify and mitigate programme risks.
• Supporting tender submissions with robust and competitive construction programmes, and collaborating with engineers, project managers, clients and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

**About You**

You'll be an experienced planner with a strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, sequencing and project controls.

You'll also bring:

• Significant experience developing programmes for civil infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, staging and project delivery methodologies
• Proven experience using planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or similar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to communicate technical information clearly to a range of stakeholders
• Experience working across tender and delivery environments
• A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent industry experience
