Director of Product

Join our Canadian fintech business as the Director of Product. In this role, you will lead a team of Product Managers, own product strategy and outcomes, and identify new growth opportunities. You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and Commercial teams, as well as senior leaders at major financial institutions. This is an opportunity to develop a strong Product team, solve meaningful customer and business problems, and drive transformation.

• Curiosity about AI and emerging technology, with evidence of active learning and experimentation
• Significant Product Management experience, with a track record of leading, coaching and developing strong Product Managers
• Experience navigating complex products, platforms, stakeholders and workflows
• Strong ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear Product direction
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives, customers and cross-functional leaders
• A track record of owning meaningful Product decisions and outcomes
• Experience identifying, launching or scaling new products or growth opportunities
• Strong data judgment and experience using evidence to make Product decisions
• Experience working in a strong product-led technology organization
• Experience in fintech, lending, payments or financial platforms is a plus, but not required
• You’re energized by building teams, finding growth opportunities, experimenting with new technology and taking ownership when the path forward isn’t obvious
• You became a Product leader because you enjoy solving Product problems, not because you wanted to stop being involved in them
• You’re comfortable with ambiguity, curious about customers and data, and willing to challenge assumptions. You enjoy developing people while staying close enough to the work to help teams make better decisions
