Process Mapping Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Director, Process Excellence in mapping the “as is” and “to be” processes relevant to the rollout of the new ERP System (SAP S/4HANA) by:

• Providing guidance, support, and mentorship to process mapping experts within GSS, ensuring they have the necessary resources to support the successful rollout of the new ERP system;
• Working with the ERP system integrator to assist with documentation of the global design templates and process documentation supporting the ERP rollout;
• Collaborating with area owners and functional leads to understand existing business processes and document them accurately;
• Developing and maintaining accurate process maps using process mapping tools or software, ensuring these are comprehensive and user-friendly;
• Working closely with subject matter experts and relevant stakeholders to collect their inputs to establish end-to-end “to be” process including areas of harmonization and local design variations;
• Developing necessary documentations, (e.g. procedures, guidelines, working instructions, user guides) using range of sources and tools for process implementation;
• Defining measurable KPIs in consultation with functional leads and subject matter experts against the processes and analyse process performance; and
• Identifying process bottlenecks and opportunities to increase process efficiencies.

• Ad Hoc tasks assisting the wider GSS BMS team as requested.

Key Performance Indicators

Process Mapping

• Accuracy: All process maps and documentations accurately reflect the “as is” and “to be” processes.
• Timeliness: Meets project deadlines and delivers process maps and documentations in a timely manner to support project timelines
• Quality: Produces high-quality process maps and documentations that are easy to understand, follow and maintain.
• Positive and satisfactory feedback from internal clients and counterparts.
• Establish collaborative relationships with the members of the team, divisional counterparts and internal clients.
• Professional ethics and standards are maintained.

Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in industrial engineering, process engineering, business management or any equivalent degree
• Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and involvement in past ERP rollout projects would be essential
• With at least 5-7 years solid working experience in process mapping, process documentation, project management and previous ERP rollout project involvement
• Proficiency in using process mapping tools and software (e.g. Visio, SAP Signavio, Nintex Promapp) would be essential
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to critically analyze complex processes
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality process documentation
• Strong technical writing with experience in delivering end-user documentation including procedures, process maps and training materials
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills, the ability to track multiple tasks at once and prioritise activities
• Ability to work independently and liaise with staff and management at all levels
• Can work with minimal supervision and has a leadership potential
• Ability to cope with ambiguity and change and maintain high level of professionalism when working under pressure
