Senior DevOps Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at QRT, you will be a key player in designing, building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our quantitative research and trading platforms. You will work closely with developers and quantitative researchers to ensure seamless CI/CD pipelines, robust automation and scalable deployment strategies.

Your future role within QRT

Building and maintaining environments for Python development, ensuring optimal performance, compatibility and security

Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software delivery across multiple environments

Architecting and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS, with a strong focus on EKS (Kubernetes) for container orchestration

Ensuring the stability and security of on-premises production systems, including infrastructure automation and monitoring

Implementing and managing automation tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention

Collaborating with globally distributed teams, ensuring smooth communication and coordination between teams in different time zones

Driving best practices in DevOps, infrastructure as code (IaC) and security compliance

Your present skillset

Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline development and deployment automation

Proficiency with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker

Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

Strong background in AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda and networking components

Hands-on experience managing on-premises production systems, ensuring high availability and scalability

Proficiency in monitoring, logging and security best practices for cloud and on-prem environments

Excellent English communication skills to effectively coordinate across teams in different locations

Ability to document workflows, troubleshoot issues and provide clear technical explanations

A proactive mindset, capable of driving process improvements and automation initiatives
