You will support Vitalant's life-saving mission by managing the inventory of blood and blood products and facilitate the packaging and shipment to local hospitals and patients. What to Expect

• Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Starting Pay: $23.00 - $24.40 hourly, based on experience

As a Hospital Distribution Technician you'll get to

• Receive, prepare, and ship routing, ASAP and STAT orders of blood and blood products, conducting a visual inspection of each product prior to shipment to ensure order accuracy.
• Communicate with customers regarding order fulfilment, turnaround times, and product availability.
• Maintain accurate hospital service records for transactions and process fees.
• Monitor all storage requirements, service equipment and vehicle work areas.
• Please note: This position in this location does not drive often. May have to step in and deliver blood products to a hospital on occasion.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or GED required
• Valid in-state driver's license
• Six months of customer service experience required
• Prior healthcare industry experience preferred
• Able to lift 40lbs
