Electrical Site Engineer

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Site Engineer Support the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of electrical engineering activities for Downer’s APLNG works.
The position assists the Project Engineer and broader project team with technical documentation, field verification, construction support, commissioning preparation, quality records and engineering assurance. The role is intended to develop an early-career engineer through supervised practical experience while ensuring work is completed in accordance with approved Downer and customer requirements, applicable legislation, standards, drawings and project controls.
You will be working on an 18/10 roster, FIFO from Brisbane to the Surat Basin where you will be provided with transportation, meals and accommodation.

What we’re looking for
-
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or an equivalent qualification recognised in Australia.

Eligibility for graduate membership of Engineers Australia.

Experience in Oil & Gas would be advantageous

Current Australian driver licence suitable for project travel.

Graduate or early-career electrical engineering experience, up to three years.

Exposure to construction, commissioning, energy, resources, utilities or heavy industry is desirable.

Field-based or contractor-delivery experience is advantageous but not essential.
