We're looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane and start an exciting career as a Refrigeration Mechanic Apprentice.

This is your opportunity to earn while you learn, gain practical skills, and work alongside experienced technicians who are passionate about developing the next generation of refrigeration specialists.

As part of the Lindsay team, you'll work on trailer-based refrigeration systems that play a critical role in keeping Australia's fresh food supply moving.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Refrigeration Mechanic Apprentice, you'll learn on the job while gaining valuable hands-on experience. You will

• Assist with servicing, maintaining, and repairing trailer-based refrigeration systems.

• Learn how refrigeration components such as compressors, motors, condensers, and evaporators work together.
• -
• Develop fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• -
• Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance activities.
• -
• Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigeration systems.
• -
• Complete maintenance and repair documentation.
• -
• Follow safe work practices and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• -
• Attend TAFE and workplace training as part of your apprenticeship.

What We’re Looking For

You don't need experience to get started. We're looking for people with the right attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn. You'll be a great fit if you:

Have an interest in refrigeration, mechanics, air-conditioning, or how things work.

Have a natural mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.

Have completed, or are currently completing, Year 10 or higher.
