FPSO Precomm/Mechanical Completion Coordinator

As the FPSO Precomm/Mechanical Completion Coordinator will demonstrate and execute a number of activities a, but not limited to, as per below:

•

The service holder to Scrutinizing and approving the contractor's mechanical completion and pre-commissioning procedures, including flushing, cleaning, pressure testing, and initial functional checks.

•

The service holder should plan and attend critical mechanical completion and pre-commissioning activities such as hydrotests of pressure vessels and piping, function tests of critical equipment, and alignment checks of rotating machinery.

•

The service holder to responding to technical queries from the contractor and providing clarifications on Company's requirements.

•

The service holder Identifying and assessing potential risks and delays related to mechanical completion and pre-commissioning and proposing mitigation strategies.

•

The service holder participates in project steering committee meetings to provide updates on mechanical completion and pre-commissioning status.

•

The service holder needs to examine mechanical completion dossiers, pre-commissioning procedures, test packages, and other relevant documentation for completeness and accuracy.

•

Promoting a strong safety culture within the mechanical team and ensuring all activities are carried out in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. Participating in safety audits and incident investigations. Ensure required HSE competencies of the team.

Professional Experience (years): 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry is expected, with a significant portion focused on offshore projects, and ideally at least 10 years specifically on FPSO fabrication projects.

•

Have a strong mechanical engineering background, significant hands-on experience in pre-commissioning and mechanical completion, ideally within the FPSO sector, and demonstrated coordination and communication skills. Their experience should showcase a track record of successfully bringing complex mechanical systems to a state of readiness for commissioning.

•

Proven experience in a coordination or supervisory role, managing interfaces between contractors, disciplines, and stakeholders.

•

Demonstrated ability to identify, analyse, and resolve technical issues that arise during the mechanical completion and pre-commissioning phases.

•

Experience in interacting with and overseeing the work of equipment vendors and construction/commissioning contractors.

•

Qualification: A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related engineering discipline is typically mandatory.

•

Languages: Fluent in Chinese and English (French will be added advantage)
