Strategic Finance Analyst

Join MongoDB as a Strategic Finance Analyst, where you will play a key role in driving financial and analytical aspects of business decisions, go-to-market strategies, and resource allocation. You will work closely with executives and team leaders to evaluate, plan, execute, and measure strategic business initiatives. This position requires 1 to 3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or an analytical role at a data-driven technology company.

• This position requires an adaptable self-starter who is able to work comfortably and communicate clearly with stakeholders across the organization, progress tasks from start to finish, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, challenging environment
• This will be primarily an in-office role, and we are looking for candidates who plan to be available in our New York City office for approximately three to four days per week
• 1 to 3 years experience in investment banking, management consulting, or an analytical role at a data-driven technology company
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Drive for results and a sense of urgency with the capacity to multitask and prioritize
• Superior analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills
• Candidates must possess substantial experience with financial modeling and proficiency in Excel
• Highly organized with rigorous attention to detail
• Confidence to forge strong relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization
• Experience with data acquisition tools (e.g., SQL) and large datasets is a plus
• Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
