About The Role

As an Assistant Manager in the Training department, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of Popeyes' store operations. Your primary focus will be on implementing and executing training initiatives to enhance the skills and knowledge of both new and existing employees.   • Conduct training sessions and on-the-job certifications for new hires and existing employees, covering all necessary operational and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and update training materials, ensuring they are engaging, effective, and aligned with the company's goals.
  • Track and monitor the training progress of employees, providing regular feedback and support to ensure their development.
  • Conduct regular audits of store training health, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Work closely with store managers to understand their training needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance store performance.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in training and development, incorporating new ideas into the training curriculum.
  • Ensure compliance with all training-related regulations and standards, maintaining a safe and inclusive work environment.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization, encouraging employees to take ownership of their professional growth.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on training effectiveness, suggesting improvements to the training program.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a training or HR role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse workforce.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using training management software and tools for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing training needs and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to addressing training challenges.
