Senior Founding People & Talent Lead

About the Role

You will help build the People and Talent function from the ground up in a fast growing AI software company. This is a founding, high impact role reporting to the leadership team and focused on shaping hiring, onboarding, and workforce development as the company scales.

What You'll Do

• Own end to end recruiting and partner with leaders to define role expectations and org design.

• Source and close exceptional candidates across functions with a strong focus on early talent and critical hires.

• Design scalable hiring processes, analytics, and operating rhythms to enable fast, high quality hiring.
• -
• Shape onboarding, performance calibration, career progression, and compensation benchmarking over time.
• -
• Develop and promote an employer brand to attract top talent in the region and beyond.
• -
• Build a network across universities and technical communities to grow the talent pipeline.
• -
• Experiment with AI tools and new workflows to increase recruiting velocity and quality.
• -
• Maintain high hiring standards and contribute to a culture focused on retention and development.

What We're Looking For

• -
• 2-5 years of experience in Talent, Performance, or org development at a high growth startup or scaleup.
• -
• End to end recruiting experience plus ability to design scalable processes and analytics.
• -
• Strong storytelling and relationship building with a track record of sourcing and closing senior candidates.
• -
• Comfort with AI tools and willingness to experiment with new recruiting workflows.
• -
• Fluent English; German language skills are a plus.
• -
• Interest in growing into broader People leadership as the company scales.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range not disclosed. Visa sponsorship not available. This is a full time role at a Series A/B level AI B2B SaaS company.

Location

Primary location: Munich, Bavaria, Germany. On site with no remote option.
