About The Role

Join our fast-paced fintech company as a Compliance Analyst. In this hands-on role, you will help build and run our BSA/AML/OFAC program, monitor and investigate suspicious activity, and support the sanctions and AML program. You will work directly with senior compliance leadership, giving you visibility and influence beyond a typical analyst position. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, experience in fintech or financial services, and a bias toward action and process-building.

  • Monitor and investigate suspicious activity, conduct account and transaction-level reviews to identify unusual patterns, and support the drafting of Unusual Activity Reports (UARs).
  • Independently manage a caseload of BSA/AML/OFAC alerts and investigations, from initial review through UAR filing, and become the go-to point of contact for day-to-day BSA/AML/OFAC compliance operations.
  • Identify and help close at least one meaningful gap in monitoring coverage or process, and contribute analysis or reporting that shapes a real decision made by compliance leadership.
  • This role is a strong fit for someone who wants ownership early in their career: you'll help define the processes, not just follow them, and you'll have room to bring AI-powered tools into how the work gets done from day one
  • Strong analytical instincts comfortable pulling metrics, spotting trends, and translating data into operational decisions
  • Experience in fintech, payments, B2B SaaS, or financial services preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a BSA/AML/OFAC compliance role, ideally at a fintech or other closely regulated industry
  • Bias toward action and process-building you don't wait for someone to hand you a playbook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable in ambiguity you can build structure where none exists without losing momentum
  • Experience with transaction monitoring or alerts screening systems, and comfort writing SQL queries against large datasets
  • AI-native mindset: you're already using AI tools in your daily work and you're excited to push further
  • Based in Salt Lake City or New York City; able to be in-office 3–4 days per week
