Software Engineer (Ground Software)

Join Muon, a cutting-edge space technology company, as a Software Engineer (Back-end) in our Ground Software team. You will be responsible for building our cloud infrastructure, web services, and applications related to mission planning and control, ground station integrations, and tools for understanding Earth's complex systems. You will manage the full software lifecycle, from implementation to production support, and work with various technologies such as Docker, FastAPI, Kubernetes, and AWS Lambda. • Participate in designing cloud architecture, choosing technologies, and organizing systems.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure, web services, and applications for mission planning and control.
• Architect systems to achieve low latency and fault tolerance, and deploy infrastructure and tools.

• Experience with cloud-native software development in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) using containers
• Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with new opportunities each week
• 4+ years experience as a software engineer in a team environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong programming experience in Python for web development
• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
