Summary of Job Duties
The Administrative Coordinator works in conjunction with service line leadership to support the administrative needs of the Integrated Medicine and Cardiovascular Service Lines. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining clinic scheduling templates in Epic and coordinating schedule changes. The Administrative Coordinator will be assigned various projects, will prepare & analyze reports, and will assist in coordinating the daily operations within the service line. Will be required to attend Epic training and pass required exams within one year of hire.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree in a directly related field plus two (2) years of experience in program administration OR
- -
- a High School Diploma plus six (6) years program administration.

- Experience in a medical office setting

- Experience working with Epic Cadence and QGenda
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- -
- Knowledge of clinical workflows in an outpatient clinic setting.

- Attend Epic training and pass applicable testing within one year of employment.

- Ability to prepare reports and analyze data.
- -
- Working knowledge of data processing equipment and applications.
- -
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

- Strong customer service orientation.
Additional Information
Responsibilities
-
Develops and maintains clinic scheduling templates, decision trees, diagnosis matrices, and scheduling criteria for all providers in the service line. Works closely with IT to build and maintain accurate templates and decision trees in Epic.

Ensures OR and Lab time is released appropriately. Coordinates rescheduling as needed.

Provides technical and customer support for providers and access staff utilizing Epic scheduling templates. Meets regularly with providers and access staff to review scheduling templates, making recommendations to optimize schedules and ensuring compliance with Access Committee guidelines.

Monitors clinic schedules and works closely with clinic and appointment center access staff to ensure accurate and efficient use of provider time.

Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.
