Academia Strategy Senior Manager

Join LSEG, a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider. As the Academia Strategy Senior Manager, you will drive business strategy and product development for the LSEG Academia business. You will manage product owners, oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of product development, build marketing strategy, create sales strategy, and support the profitable growth of the business. This role requires experience in managing businesses, knowledge of the academia community, and a strong commercial understanding.

• Manage the business strategy for the academia business across Workspace, Mergent, and all related products, driving growth and profitability.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of product development from ideation to launch, including delivery of roadmaps, and supervise product owner’s output.
• Build marketing strategy and engage with the academia community for best feedback and activation, creating sales strategy and securing effective go-to-market tactics.

• Experience in managing businesses including integration of legacy assets
• Ability to manage key stakeholder feedback and expectations
• Knowledge and relations in the Academia community preferred
• Aptitude to developing and nurturing partnerships that support product growth and long-term prospects of the business
• Focused on product modernization, including AI strategies
• Strong commercial understanding and ability to develop and implement new commercial models with effective go-to-market strategies
• Excels in fast-paced, data and tech role with short turnaround deadlines
• Ability to manage across a matrix organisation across various teams with different structures
• Strong awareness of profit and loss dynamics and drive to improve the growth and profitability of the business
